Oh ho, very fucking clever. You’re a real philosopher. Look. The Game belongs in a digression of a high school group discussion of Descartes, and not our collective pop culture lexicon. It’s not interesting, it’s not very funny, and it’s well played out. Cackle all you like about catching someone out on this bland paradox of psychology, but when you laugh amongst grown-ups, you laugh alone.
You can never refer to The Game except to criticise people who are proud of playing it. Even so, the awkward glee they so consciously revel in when catching you out on “losing” the “unwinnable” Game makes it hard to mention this one. Leave it alone, stop saying it, and hopefully it’ll go away.
